Delicious, easy, and since I made it, less salty than a canned version.

So easy..so good Didn’t have chicken broth so subbed beef. It came out with a bit of a smoky flavor.

I’ve been intimated in the past with traditional enchilada sauces. This is such a great recipe! It’s easy and flavorful and did I say easy? My family likes their sauce spicy so I boil chili’s and add the juices if I have time, otherwise cayenne pepper adds that bite they enjoy. I highly recommend this recipe - I’ve made it 4 times in the last week.

Very easy and really great. I added some lime juice and oregano for a deeper flavor. It holds in the fridge wonderfully, served with homemade tamales.

This recipe is great and saves me from having to buy canned...sometimes I simmer this sauce with minced jalapeño to spice it up. Made this again and chili powder from the tortillaria down the street made all the difference, it was even better.

This was so easy and delicious, made a good amount to make a family sized tray of yummy enchiladas! So much better than Jar sauce, will definitely be making again.

This was so good and so easy. I ended up with 2.5 cups as expected which was just enough to split into two recipes. It was great in both. Everything in the recipe is something we have on hand normally, so I'm never buying the store bought again.

YES!!! So excited to have found a GOOD sauce recipe using ingredients you always have in the pantry. Husband and boys (ages 4 and 2) scarfed down the enchiladas I made. Won't be buying canned sauce anymore!!!
