Excellent but took much longer and needed almost double the amount of chicken broth in order to cook the rice fully - I used brown rice.

Turned out good. A little bland but still yum. I used a clove of garlic because I had no garlic salt.

Turned out perfect! Next time I may add some more vegetables. Also the amount of spiced is good.... but I like a very flavorful pilaf so I may double that too. All and all very good.

Made this last night for dinner. The main reason I am docking it in stars is that mine absolutely did not cook in the allotted amount of time. At the end of the 20 minutes there was still standing broth, big time. I left it covered, turned up the heat and let it cook down (it took another 10 - 15 minutes). The dish came out good but the rice was still slightly crunchy/undercooked. All in all the increase in cooking time might not have been a big issue but we were in a hurry last night (youngest had a soccer game = dinner in a hurry) and I'd chosen this recipe due to the "quick cooking" claims. I WILL try this recipe again though, just giving myself more time for the rice to cook.

Delicious and easy. Doubled the recipe to make sure I had enough for my two teenage sons, as well as my wife and I. We were out turmeric so I used the same amount of curry seasoning. Everyone loved it. Instant favorite. My son made sure to let me know he wanted left overs for lunch.

Awesome and easy, very nice recipe Did 3 times the recipe, but only doubled the turmeric as it it quite powerful , I followed the rest for the rest... This is my new pilaf favorite.

I did modify it because I did not have the exact ingredients it called for, but I figured it would work with what I had. I used Canola Oil, and skipped the tumeric, and substituted corn for the mixed veggies because I didn't have those either. I loved the recipe because it is quick and easy to fix. After cleaning house all day and doing laundry, that is just the kind of recipe I was looking for. :)
