Just managed to prep and make these cookies in less tham 30 minutes!! My bf mentioned he was craving something sweet right before he jumped in the shower. By the time he was done - the cookies were served on a plate. We both loved the cookies and he was happily surprised. They were perfect thickness, more on the chewy side (which we prefer), and tasty. I also added a pinch of almond extract for extra flavor. Delish!

It turned out great I made three types with the same batch sprinkled, powdered sugar, and plain.

Mine don’t look as pretty (probably because I had to substitute applesauce for an egg) but they were good! They got some rise too! It took longer than ten minutes to bake but that might be because of the applesauce, too.

Easy recipe and they came out soft and chewy! I made these for my nephew and hope he enjoys them!

I was not a fan of these sugar cookies. They were dense, very dry and not sweet. These may be great with icing but as a stand alone cookie, they weren’t good.

Super easy to make and perfect if you want quick sugar cookies and don't need to make them fancy or decorate them. My kitchen rats asked for these because they had a craving. They got the two thumbs up when they came fresh out of the oven.

terrible they were super dry won't make again.

A bit dry, but will ice them so maybe it is a good thing and they won’t be super sweet. Very simple recipe that my 5yr old helped with for her classmates. Will make again with new oven and hope better temperature regulation.

Awesome!! Very tasty and THE EASIEST sugar cookie recipe I have ever used. 8 minutes seemed perfect amount of time. My daughter, 13, was actually the one who made them they didn’t spread out very much during baking and when they were still warm out of the oven she pressed them lightly with the bottom of a bowl to flatten. Will use this recipe again - thanks!

(i'm a kid) loved the recipe just magnificent and my brother loved the dough so we made part of the excess dough runnier and used it to frost our cookies (we dont have any frosting)

Brittany Reimnitz 15 Oct 2017
Quick and easy. Tastes great. I used two medium eggs instead of one large.
Sanai Broxton 11 Oct 2017
Great! I added a little bit less flour to the recipe simply because I was running out and I lessened the ingredients to the flour proportion so it turned out amazing

These cookies came out great. However I did make a few changes. Insted of using all-purpose flour I used self-rising flour and I didn't use the baking soda or baking powder. Insted of just using white sugar I used 1 cup of white sugar and a half cup of brown sugar. I also added some vegetable oil to bring the cookie dough together because it was still crumbly. My family loved them everyone thought they were store bought!
