I used blueberries instead of strawberries and added vanilla and cinnamon. It turned out amazing! I also threw in a bit of pearl sugar (only about 2 tbsp). Definitely a good base for whatever fruit you’re currently in love with :)

this cake is great. i upped the sugar a bit and it didn't even need it. next time it'll be the recipe as stated but with whipped cream.

Very moist and not too sweet; next time round I’d like to add some vanilla extract cause it seemed to lack something. Also the cooking time varied, it took a bit longer than 35 minutes.

Very tasty!! I think I added more than a pound of strawberries from our garden and turned out wonderful! Will definitely make it again! Going to try it with peaches when our trees are ready to be harvested!
