  • 1 red onions (large or 2 small)
  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder (hot, or cayenne pepper to taste, optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger (finely grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
