  • 1/2 cup green onions (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup cashew (pieces)
  • 3/4 cup crunchy chow mein noodles (Goldbaums makes a gluten-free version, optional)
  • 1 pinch cayenne
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (Pacific Organic makes a gluten-free version)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce (check for Joyce Chen’s gluten-free version)
  • 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
