I boiled chicken, carrots, and few onions in chicken broth because that was what I had. I also used refrigerated crescent rolls as the dough. I also added a can of green beans instead of peas. My family loved it. Will be making this again.

Made this last night and it turned out great. I made a few changes, including a homemade crust, omitting the thyme, and using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. The flavors were just right. I'll definitely be making this again.

This was delicious! I made it as directed. My husband was so pleased as he kept seeing chicken pot pie on TV and asked me to make it for him.

This was great! I added celery, and a bit more of the spices. I also lightened it up by making two pot pies as I did not have a deep dish. I used 1 sheet of puff pastry on top of each pie instead of top and bottom and it came out great! You know it is a hit when your husband walks in the door and says “that smells really good” :) Will definitely make again!!

This was amazing! Practically foolproof! I added extra veggies and chicken but didn’t increase the broth since I like a meatier pie. I was able to make 2 huge pies which came out beautifully. I didn’t have poultry seasoning so I used herbs and spices from my cabinet . The flavor was delicious. I also cooked celery with the carrots. I don’t think you can make a mistake with this recipe. My grandson loved it I will definitely be making this all winter! And I will try the cast iron skillet next, too.

I used frozen veggies in place of fresh carrots, turned out great! Better than I've had in any restaurant! I'll definitely be making this again, the family loved it!

Loved this pot pie! Got rave reviews! Made one for my neighbor who had shoulder surgery and one for my family. My neighbor said it was the best chicken pot pie she had ever had. My family asked me to save the recipe so they could have again! So was a win - win. I did add some broccoli and used a trader Joe rolled pie crust. This pie crust has a bit of sweetness to it and is nice a flaky. It worked beautifully with this recipe.

Pot pie is so good! Easy to make, followed recipe first time, after that, omitted the thyme, have made it many times, my favorite!!! Tried different recipes , this is the best pot pie, like that it's not made with condensed soup!! It's a must try😄
