I just Made this dish but with a twist I used spicy Italian sausage instead of breakfast sausage and I turned it into biscuits and gravy for dinner and crumbled The sausage up follow the directions on making the gravy with the sausage and it came out perfect quick and easy gravy recipe I will use it again

So good and so easy/fast to make. Definitely going to make sure I start the sausage before putting the biscuits in the oven. Also will make sure the sausage is very browned and crispier next time before adding the flour.

These were fabulous. My husband knows his B&G and with the restrictions during COVID he missed getting them at a restaurant. He claimed these to be BETTER than what he normally gets!
My suggestion is to make homemade biscuits next time. Grand Biscuits were excellent for convenience

Delicious and easy. For extra flavor, toss in diced onion to the sausage, and for an extra kick, add red pepper flakes.

If I could give this a million stars I would! Growing up my momma always made biscuits & gravy, it was a weekend staple of my childhood. I have never been able to successfully make my mommas gravy. The first 2 times I tried I threw the frying pans out, of that tells ya anything. And then last year both of my parents were killed in a car accident on their way to their Friday night date night=*( needless to say I never learned how to make her gravy. Well I had been missing them something fierce and I decided to try to find a recipe and I came across this one. Hand to God I cried the entire way through it. It was like she made it. I know this sounds crazy but I have never had anything little own a meal make me feel so at peace and connected to someone. I now make this every weekend. My husband and kids swoon over it the same way me and my brothers and sisters did. Thank you for this recipe whoever you are! Seriously thank you!!

It was great I cut it down to two servings but I think I use a little bit too much sausage

Really liked this recipe. Will keep it in hand for the future, no doubt. The only problem I had was that the gravy turned out too thick, so I might just use a little less flour next time.

Quick and easy! I added a 2 tbsp of butter after browning the sausage and a dash of cayenne after the milk. Second time making this.
