Description

While the Potatoes have a soft feel the shrimp compliments it with a crunchy texture. The mashed potatoes should be seasoned with the cheddar cheese to add a salty and sweet taste, while the shrimp is hot due to the pepper.

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes
  • water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 7 large shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • milk (if needed)
  • 1 eggs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cook the potatoes in plenty of salted water.
  3. Once they are cooked, mash them and add butter, cheese, shrimp, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper. Add milk if the mashed potato mixture is too thick.
  4. Place the mashed potatoes in a pastry bag and pipe potato and shrimp rosettes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Cover the rosettes with egg using an egg brush and bake until the tops are golden brown.
