I made this recipe for the first time 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. I end up making 4 batches because all my friends and neighbors ask for a loaf. Makes a great gift for the holidays. I never stray from the actual recipe because it's perfect the way it is.

Followed the recipe exactly, except used 2 somewhat larger loaf pans (possibly 9"?) which increased the baking time by 10 minutes. Delicious pumpkin bread! Next time I'll sift the dry ingredients instead of simply whisking them, I had a few unpleasant baking soda chunks that I hope to avoid in the future. Used my own organic heirloom pumpkin puree and fresh eggs, any excuse to bake with farm products!
