  • 1 cup button mushrooms (finely chopped, almost to a minuscule size)
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots (chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats (I use Bob's Red Mill)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (fresh)
  • 1 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 pound ground turkey (not extra lean)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (and pepper)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
