It definitely was crunchy but also has a kick that the kids did not like. Next time I will leave out the paprika and the cayenne. Also, didn't need that many eggs, maybe 2. And make the whole flour mixture, you will need it.

Amazing!!!! Another delicious way to cook chicken. So crispy and flavorful!!

Good, although not as crispy as expected. Halved the flour mixture and did half flour/half cornstarch. Also reduced the amount of ginger and nutmeg. Added cornstarch to the sauce in order to thicken, an spooned on when serving rather than dipping as didn't want the chicken coating soggy. Will make again. Ha

The chicken was crispy and delicious. I halved the coating amount, since I had no need for a second batch, and added a teaspoon Madras curry powder to it for a little kick.

Good crunch and not a bad flavor. I cooked it on the short side of the time. I made the honey soy garlic sauce, but I didn't like the taste. Might be because it foamed up in the 30 seconds I was pulling the chicken out of the oven.

It tasted great, the chicken was nice and moist. U really have to watch the sauce, it can burn very easily

Delicious. Keep in mind that the recipe doubles the dredge ingredient amounts because, “there’s always a next time with this recipe,” which I find a bit ridiculous.

The breading was great even without the sauce. I'd recommend adding panko to it if you're baking for a crunchier coating

This was awesome! Put it on top of the "easy fried rice" and ....... perfecto 🙏🏼

None of the family enjoyed this; the coating on the chicken is ok but the sweet garlic sauce is really not nice.

I thought the prep time was longer than expected. I would add 15-20 to it because of the amount of ingredients you need to measure. Other than that it is FANTASTIC!!! The flavors of the chicken alone was a burst of herbs and spices. Adding the sauce gives it a General Tso's type of flavor. Just the right amount of pop. If you like a bit more heat, add some red pepper flakes, to taste. I made Jasmine rice and steamed broccoli with it. Definite 10+

It was harder work for a beginner cook, but I think next time it’ll be even better. I cut down the ginger by 1 tbsp on this because I’m not a huge fan of that spice.

A bit peppery, but really good!

I guess I’m the only one who didn’t like it! Didn’t get crispy enough. Sauce was overpowering. Not worth the trouble.

my husband and I both loved this dish. it turned out beautifully, with perfect balance between each different flavor. it does take a little more prep time than we expected, but is absolutely worth it.

Made this with shrimp (without using the sage) and it was a really good. Big hit with my daughter! Such a simple recipe with plenty of flavor and I already had all of the ingredients in the pantry. Perfect “in a pinch” recipe.

The sauce is a little too sweet and to make sure I had enough I doubled it. The crunch I changed a little cause I did not have all the ingrédients. I will definitely make it again

Pretty good! Baked it didn’t want to fry it

Very tasty and full of flavour but very sickly about half way through to the point where you struggle, would be better diced and served on the side alongside something else.
