  • 2 cups light beer (or soda water)

  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup rice flour (for dredging)
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt (for onion rings)
  • 3/4 cup yellow mustard (for marinating onions)
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil (for marinating onions)

  • 1 tsp. black pepper (for marinating onions)
  • 8 hamburger patties (3-4 oz. per patty, 80/20 meat-to-fat blend)
