Very easy and cheap recipe, we added to it by putting pepperoni slices on top after we encrusted it with the Doritos, then after cooking it we put shredded cheese on top and let it sit in the oven for a minute on low to melt the cheese. Turned out amazing.

Followed instructions exactly and it turned out to be bland, soggy chips cooked onto chicken. Not as good as it could've been

I went ahead and made this even though the reviews were split. Kids liked it. It's fairly easy. Didn't get as crunchy as I would like, but that's to be expected with baking something like this. I thought about frying a batch of it, but I didn't think that would work with Doritos. Still had some of the Dorito flavor after baking. Kids had it with ranch and I tried a little spicy Ranch with it. Things I changed: Floured the chicken before the egg step because I've never had a crust like this stick with just egg. Salted and peppered the flour, eggs and Doritos. In my experience, any recipe that doesn't include salt and pepper will need it desperately. Let the chicken sit 30 minutes between the coating and the cooking so the crust would set.

Blah... Tasted like stale corn chips dumped on bland chicken. One of my kids put his in a hot dog bun and ate it po boy style and everyone said it was ok but not great- except the youngest who gave her's to the dog. I found it kind of gross and flavorless and a waste of good Doritos. Won't be making it again.

I used this recipe on my picky little sister and she loved it. It needs some ranch to dip it in though or else it is pretty bland.

Mine turned out pretty good! I used spicy Doritos and ate mine with ranch and surachi mayo. I will cook this again. And I made sure it burnt bit on the Doritos

Wasted good chicken and a perfectly good bag of Doritos on this super bland and boring chicken. Sounded awesome but basically it tastes like a dry ass chicken breast wrapped in a corn tortilla because the chips draw out all the moisture of the chicken and I'm not sure where the cheese from the Doritos goes but you can't taste it.
