Description

Have a donut maker you've been itching to use, one that's just been taking up space on your shelf? This simple recipe using pantry ingredients is waiting to be whipped up with little effort. Since the recipe is a blank canvas, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar as the recipe suggests, or you can get creative with cinnamon sugar, frosting or glaze made with confectioner's sugar.

Ingredients

260 grams flour
130 grams sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
250 milliliters milk
3 eggs
5 tablespoons oil
salt
powdered sugar

Directions

1Preheat the donut maker.
2Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, milk, eggs, oil, and a pinch of salt until the batter is uniform in consistency.
3Place a tablespoon of batter into each of the donut molds.
4Close the donut maker lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
5Remove the donuts with a wooden spatula.
6Cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
