Description

Cake that is good enough to give as a gift. Dress it up with a ribbon and share it with your friends and family. It features two types of olive oil, cream, and sugar.

Ingredients

250 grams granulated sugar
4 whole eggs
salt
110 grams cream
200 grams flour
4 grams baking powder
30 grams basil olive oil
15 grams olive oil (unflavored)
1 lemon (organic)

Directions

1In a bowl, mix the sugar, eggs, cream, and a pinch of salt.
2Mix in flour sifted with baking powder to obtain a homogeneous paste.
3Add the olive oil and lemon zest to the paste.
4Cool cake overnight so paste absorbs the lemon's scent.
5Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
6If possible, use a flexible cake mold, or a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
7Pour batter into the mold.
8Bake for 1 hour.
9Check for the doneness with the tip of a knife.
