This recipe is delicious. I just made a couple of changes. I used ground beef instead of pork because that's what I had on hand, added some garlic, and instead of creole seasoning I used seasoning salt because of my one year old. I also only used one piece of bacon. My family loved it so I'll definitely make this again

Turned out to be a delicious dish, almost as good as I used to get when living in South Louisiana. Highly recommend using habanero peppers instead of green bell pepper, since the habaneros add a little extra kick and more taste. Do not worry about the habanero's heat since most of it gets cooked away. Waiting for bacon to get extra crispy on low medium heat is very important and rewarding later when eating and you get that surprising bacon crunch.
