- 4 camembert (small, with the rind on, I used petit camembert from Marin French Cheese)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (fresh, panko or regular)
- oil (for frying)
- 4 slices bread (good, toasted)
- blackcurrant jam

very good recipe! Only thing i would change is that the pot of oil needs to be on low during the cooking process or the crumbing will burn in under 2mins. But since I am new to cooking, im guessing that is my fault more than anything.

Beautiful. Everyone at the table loved it. I followed it completely, except I used cranberry sauce, because that's what I had on hand. A chutney would also work, because the key is to use a sweet & sour condiment. We have made it twice now.
