Ingredients

160 grams butter
200 grams sugar
6 egg yolks
1 tablespoon vanilla
180 grams bittersweet chocolate (70% cacao bar)
3 tablespoons water
250 grams almonds
6 egg whites
powdered sugar

Directions

1Beat the butter with the sugar and egg yolks until creamy.
2Melt the chocolate in the microwave with three tbsps. of water (3 minutes) and add it to the egg yolk mixture.
3Add the vanilla.
4Grind the almonds in the blender and add it to the mixture.
5Beat the egg whites until they form peaks in a separate bowl, approximately 4 minutes, and fold in the egg yolk mixture.
6Bake at 180 C for 45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
7Once cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
