  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (EACH paprika, black pepper, salt)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (EACH paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, for spicy)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (EACH, & pepper)
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (or cajun or taco seasoning)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 brioche buns (medium-sized)
  • mayonnaise
  • pickles (Sliced)
  • 4 cups canola oil (for frying)

    The Mayo was almost spot on and honestly took the sandwich to whole new level. I will definitely make this again. Probably do some things differently than I did today. Really yummy though! 👍🏽

    I made this recipe today. The only difference was that I dredged the chicken in the flour mix, and then dredged in a beaten egg. I finished with the flour / buttermilk dredge as called for. Turned out excellent.

    Loved this recipe. I couldn’t find the buns and buttermilk in my local store, so I made the buttermilk from scratch and used different buns. I also added bacon just because. 😁
