These homemade croutons will use up any old bread that is lying around your kitchen. Made with olive oil, these low fat croutons feature the savory combination of garlic and oregano. Add to your favorite salad or dip in a marinara sauce for a tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams old bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons oregano

Directions

  1. Cut the bread into slices and then into small cubes.
  2. Place in the bowl of the Actifry.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic and oregano.
  4. Schedule 12 minutes.
  5. Check for torradinhos since it depends on the type of bread.

Love being able to make your own croutons at home. The Mediterranean spices give these croutons a flavor that you can't find in a store. They go great with a salad or a soup. I prefer to let them get soft in the soup and let the flavors blend together.
