Definitely a keeper. Loved no advanced steps before throwing it in the crockpot

delicious! however i deviated from the recipe by using a diff. cooking method. to save time, i used an instant pot. first, seared all sides of the marinated pork (on saute), then poured in all the liquids and garlic and cooked by pressing the "meat" button on high pressure for 30 min. (on sealing). turned out great! next time..I'd prefer less or even no salt.

Added a jalapeno, replaced the limes and pepper with lemon pepper (only because i didnt want to go to the store). Now, how do you make tortillas...?

Great! Broiled it a bit too long but still turned out great the flavor was awesome I let it sit overnight in the crockpot

Cooked it too long not as moist as I’d like omitted chilli for kids might try adding cider next time to infuse the meat

Best carnitas ever you need to use the liquid from crockpot to get the best flavor

Luscious and tender!

There’s another recipe for crockpot carnitas on buzzfeed that calls for a bit heavier on certain seasonings, an orange, and onion. It is perfect. So for that, I give his one 3 stars as it’s close but not quite there in terms of full flavor.

Awesome, so yummy!!!

Very good and simple to make. Stayed moist after being in the broiler (maybe I just put enough of the juice on top). My household loves lime so we squeezed an extra lime over it after we took it out the broiler.

This recipe is a staple in our house. It takes 15 minutes to assemble and I come home to a home cooked meal that smells and tastes amazing.

This dish is amazing! Super easy and wonderfully prepared with savory herbs and spices. I highly recommend this recipe and look forward to making it to bring to potlucks and community gatherings! Lots of protein and low fat! This dish feels like you spent slot more time and effort than you actually have to! A big hit with my family!

Would certainly rate this higher if the cinnamon had not over powered the rest of the flavors. We just threw it on some brioche buns with chesse and El Pato jalepeno sauce and that helped tone down the cinnamom flavor. Will try this again without the cinnamon.

Loved it! Served it with brown rice, black beans, with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream in a bowl.

Very delicious! We used pineapple orange juice instead of regular orange juice, so when it was paired with enchilada sauce/salsa/hot sauce, it came out with a sweet and spicy flavor.

This recipe turned out great! I took the meat out of the broiler a couple times to mix it up. I kept doing this until all the edges were crispy.

Made and served as presented. This was very good and well liked by the whole family. Definitely recommend. I used a small can of chipotles in Adobo sauce and was heavy with the limes.

This was fabulous, but I eliminated almost half the salt and wish I'd taken out more - it was a little too much for my taste. Easy enough to fix though, and it was still something I'd make again. We'll get 4 meals out of it between the two of us. Round 1 I simmered some black beans with spices and served everything over rice. I think round 2 will be carnitas quesadillas!

Easy and delicious! This will be part of our regular weeknight dinner go-to's. I only needed about 3 minutes under the broiler though.
