  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes (dried)
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • red chili flakes (to taste)
  • 1 bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 pound mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 onion (large, chopped)

  • 1/3 flour (if needed)

This is a great recipe! This was the second time I made it. This time I used frozen chicken thighs, and I cooked on low for 10 hours. I omitted the sugar and bell pepper, and I used coconut aminos in place of the soy sauce. I had to tweak the spices quite a bit at the end, but my family really likes flavor. I added crushed garlic, garlic powder, extra basil, extra oregano, extra paprika, and some salt and pepper. Just taste before you add the sour cream. Makes quite a bit of sauce, so I may cut back on that next time. My husband and I really enjoyed it.
