  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I doubled the recipe since we were cooking for extras and I only had three chicken breasts. It worked out great though.)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 21 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 14 1/2 ounces chicken broth
  • 1/2 onion (diced OR you can use 2 Tbsp. dried, diced onion)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

a note, a larger crock pot tends to cook faster. So check your chicken breasts after the shorter time for each setting. We absolutely love this!!!! We also really like dumplings (bad for the waistline though) and add more. I make this often.
