I started making this crock pot dish last year & it’s a huge hit with my family. Really easy to prepare & let the crock pot take over. I always start this dish the night before, great for those long work days, nice filling dish ready when everyone gets home for dinner. One of my go to recipes now!

This recipe was worth the 4 1/2 hour wait. The meat juicy and falling off the bone . The seasoning was delicious. I will make this again. 4 stars.

it turned out great though i made it in my pressure cooker instead but 29 minutes at high pressure with 15 in oven on broil made it crispy without having to go to a store for a rotisserie chicken. will definitely make again!

The dark meat turned out good but the white meat was very dry. Maybe putting it breast side down would work better.

Added more spices than called for inside and out and it turned out spectacular, browned up the skin in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Literally fell off the bone!

The outside was flavorful but the inside bland. Perhaps injections would solve this problem.

Easy, easy, easy! Only issue was that it had a 4.5 hour cook time. I thought it would be 8, so I was unable to make it during a work day. Bird turned out fall off the bone tender! Saved the drippings for gravy.
