Having never made let alone tried; it turned out pretty dang good! I almost always double recipes and pretty much did again. Varied off the original a bit. Used 1 block of Velveeta, 2 bags of shredded cheddar, a stick of butter, 2.5 pounds of ground beef and forgot the celery. All other ingredients were close to what I used. It has a rich buttery flavor! Love soup!

Ive made this tons of times and only add a little more broth when cooking the potatoes and use celery seed instead of celery. I just don’t like chunks of celery. One of my favorite soups ever!

‘‘Twas perfect. I added sharp cheddar with the cheddar cheese. I used whole milk instead of two percent. Then I added beer to help thin out the soup to perfection. I also made pretzel bites covered in chopped bacon n shredded cheese to go along on the side.

turned out great! put the cheese in before adding milk and hamburger and added a little heavy whipping cream to thicken it up. definitely making this again this winter

So good!! I used the Velveeta brand shredded cheddar & it was perfect. I also used seasoned salt instead of regular. I would definitely make this again. Great comfort food.

Very delicious soup, fast and super easy I added a can of crushed tomatoes and used vegetable broth. Next time I make it think I’m going to use diced tomatoes instead.

Was very good. Not really like cheeseburger but we enjoyed it nobe the less. Made too much for just the two of us so had for several meals. Will keep on my winter meal rotation.

Absolutely great. Doesn’t exactly taste like a cheeseburger, but there are familiar notes that are both familiar and pleasant, reminiscent of a cheeseburger.

Amazing soup, whole family loves it! I use ground venison and ground breakfast venison. I also use all shredded cheese instead of processed. It is delicious!

This soup is simple to make and tastes great. I double it and freeze it for later. Serve it with Texas toast and whole family eats it. (3 kids too!)

I caramelized the onions, also used beef stock instead of chicken stock, I used 2% milk and half & half. Served 6 and GONE!!!!!!

Yummy soup, tried other recipes for this soup, this one is a keeper! Followed recipe as written, made it the first time at my sister in laws home, it's the best, she didn't have a crock pot, did it on stove top. Thanx for great recipe🤓

This was AMAZING!! Its such a different soup. I live with 3 very picky men, My boyfriend who hates potatoes LOVED this, and his dad and brother had not seconds but thirds!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
