Made this for the first time last night - I decided to replace the ketchup with a can of beef broth and it turned out perfect. I also used about half of an extra onion packet because there wasn’t enough for 2lbs of meat to be covered. Kept it on low for 7-7.5 hours and the meat was tender, the veggies tender but still held their shape. Perfect meal!

I loved it! I added two cups of water and instead of using regular potatoes I used sweet potatoes! It was fabulous!

Used the recommended recipe values, but also added beef broth. Hearty flavor, added veggies a couple hours in to keep them firmer. Turned out perfect.

I used 1 can of soup and added 1 cup of beef broth. I cut the potatoes and carrots in small sizes where I could add to crockpot for only 3 hours. Just before serving I added some frozen peas. Great flavor!

Easy recipe with good flavor. I am not a huge ketchup fan so next time I will cut that down to half a cup. I cut the baby carrots in half and they came out perfect. I cut the potatoes into 1.5 inch cubes but next time I will go smaller. They were soft enough to eat and they had great flavor but they still had a tiny bit too much bite after 8 hours.

Can i use one can of cream of celery (thats all i have in the house) or one can of cream of celery with one can of cream of mushroom? I have made this in the past with two cans of cream of celery and it was very good!

I made the stew just as written. It was really good! I never thought about putting ketchup in the sauce but it gave it that bit of tang that I've been missing in my stew before. For the ease and the taste, I'd give it five stars. I am not a great cook but with recipes like these, I'm getting better. Thanks!
