I used 1 kg chicken thighs and 4 small pears I left out the mushrooms as I didn’t have any and added a few red chilies for some punch and it turned out really well. The husband loves it!

I found it to be bland and the pears disintegrated. the chicken breast had a dry overcooked texture after cooking in the crock pot. the balsamic wasnt as balsamicy. Maybe this would be better as a stovetop meal, i think 4 hours in the cockpot ruined it.

This is the easiest and yummiest healthy crockpot meal! But YOU HAVE TO CUT THE BALSALMIC WITH BROTH. I use 1/4 cup broth (beef or chicken are both good) and 1/4 cup balsalmic. Also much better with chicken thighs, rather than breasts. I serve it over brown rice.

Did not like this at all...the vinegar flavor was way too strong. There was nothing but the vinegar present with nothing to combat the sourness, so it was just sour chicken, sour mushrooms and sour pears, and it was very unpleasant.

Absolutely awful! The vinegar is so overpowering. I bite and threw the entire dish out. I will never make this again under any circumstance.
