I needed a crispy, chocolate chip cookie recipe and this one worked! I rolled them in leftover cinnamon sugar from a Snickerdoodle recipe I had baked the day before (1/2 cup cane sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon). I had to bake these for 15 minutes for crispy cookies, and I let them cook on the baking sheet for 7 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Yum!

When the recipe says they will look like they aren't done by the end of the baking time, it's not lying. I let mine bake until they seemed done and then they got very crunchy. I think this recipe needs more chocolate chips, maybe 1.5 or 2 cups.

Delicious! Crispy and soft at the same time. We added extra chocolate chips because sometimes I let my 5 year old call the shots.

Just tried this recipe, it's awesome! I added less chocolate chips than the recipe since my family likes them less sweet but overall fantastic chocolate chip cookies

Totally loved up to it’s name! I’ve tried so many chocolate chip cookie recipes and have mostly been disappointed. Not these! We used an ice cream scoop and made both the cookies and smaller sized versions, both were perfect - soft and chewy on the inside with a crisp edge. The chocolate chip to batter ratio was really good, I used half semi-sweet and half milk chocolate. The extra vanilla is brilliant! Thank you for this recipe!
Hi Jen 20 Jan
Very good. I’d make these again.

I’m not sure why but my cookie dough did not have the moisture that it should have after following the instructions.. I admit I am not a baker and am almost %100 positive that the grocery store has switched out my large eggs with medium eggs! But After adding a bit more egg, these turned out delicious and chewy and crunchy as just as advertised!

These are picture perfect. I didn't have baking soda, and substituted powder. I also increased the salt just a pinch. The result was soft, rich cookies that held their shape in the oven.
