Description
Not many people have experienced a plum dessert before. Create a stir by serving this tasty confection at your next family get together. Light and sweet, served warm with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients

- 700 grams plums (mirabelle)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 8 sheets pastry (philo)
- 20 grams melted butter
- confectioner's sugar
- vanilla ice cream
Directions
- Wash and pit mirabelle plums and place them in a large bowl.
- Add sugar and mix gently. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Cut each philo sheet lengthwise in 2 strips 8 to 10 cm wide.
- Brush each strip with melted butter.
- Place one tablespoon of plums at the end of each strip, then fold making triangles.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and bake for about 10 to 5 minutes until well browned.
- Remove from oven,and sprinkle again with confectioners sugar.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I love these crispy pastries. I didn't have Mirabelle plums, but I had another variety of plums on hand. The samosas still turned out delicious! I also drizzled mine with a sweet vanilla glaze.
