This recipe turned out great! What a wonderful way to enjoy Brussels sprouts and feel like you were enjoying gourmet cooking at home.

Okay, here I was with some Brussels sprouts and not a clue what to do with them. Oh, I've been cooking sprouts for more decades than I care to admit to, I just wasn't getting divine inspiration tonight. I had chicken thighs just about ready to come out of the oven and even though I had seasoned them with paprika, black pepper and ground garlic and onion they were still pretty plain. Having schlepped around shopping for most of this Sunday afternoon, a couple of weeks before Christmas, I was in no mood to futz in the kitchen, hence my just sticking the birds in the oven with just some seasoning. I didn't, however, want to just boil them and stick on a pat of butter.I had just opened my email and here, as if sent from above, was a new recipe for the little cabbage wannabes. I had balsamic vinegar, I had honey, yay mon! Now I normally am not fond of honey (which doesn't explain why I have three jars of different types in my cupboard) but this was fantastic. There is such a big payoff for so little work and so few ingredients that it's amazing. You've got to try it if you like sprouts, even if you don't you will be pleasantly surprised, I think.

Loved the combination of flavors. The only thing that I did differently was cooking it in a skillet instead of the oven.

Excellent! I made them for a neighborhood potluck and my husband ate 1/2. So, I’ll have to make more before tomorrow. I guess he loves them😊

These paired well with grilled salmon. that being said, the cook time is a bit long. would be good to know how much honey and balsamic to use, as well.
