  • 5 pippin apples (large "Cox's Orange, peeled and cut into large cubes)
  • 75 grams chopped walnuts
  • 125 grams rolled oats
  • 150 grams butter
  • 75 grams superfine sugar
  • 125 grams flour
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • whipped cream
  • cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2In a frying pan, heat the chopped walnuts for 3 to 4 minutes to prevent them from becoming soft during cooking.
  3. 3Place the nuts, rolled oats, butter, sugar, and flour in a large bowl. With your fingers, mix the ingredients until you achieve a slightly thick and sandy consistency.
