  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons i can't believe it's not butter! spread
  • 2 stalks celery (thinly sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (medium, finely chopped)
  • 1 onion (medium, chopped)
  • 1 tomato (medium, chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package knorr newburg sauce mix

    Directions

    1. Spice up dinner tonight! Toss shrimp with lemon juice, garlic and cayenne pepper. Let stand 10 minutes.
    2. Melt Spread in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook celery, red pepper and onion, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato and cook 1 minute. Stir in shrimp mixture and cook until shrimp begin to turn pink, about 1 minute. Stir in milk, water and Knorr® Newburg sauce mix and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Serve over hot cooked rice. Your taste buds will thank you for this.
