Ingredients

  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 1 cup hellmann' or best food real mayonnais
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (about 4 oz)
  • 1 clove garlic (finely chopped, optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine all ingredients in 1-quart casserole. Bake uncovered 25 minutes or until heated through. Serve with your favorite dippers.

This is the recipe - I like to add green onions and/or roasted green chili’s to change it up.

I have been making this dip for 30+ years, but only use 3/4 C mayo and always Hellmans. No garlic. Make sure the parm cheese is freshly grated from frig section, not the powdered. It is my signature dish that I got from a cookbook at a boating show. I've given the recipe to at least 200 people! It's a hit no matter where I go. Don't make the mistake of using artichokes packed in oil. I serve with Ritz crackers. Enjoy~

This was fabulous. I did add a couple of handfuls of spinach that was leftover. But I don't think that affected the flavor much. Easy and good. I put it on bruschetta.
