Description

Chicken and mushroom dishes always have a warming quality – and my creamy autumnal feast is no different. Wild mushrooms are one of this country’s hidden gems, and with the right knowledge, you can forage them for yourself. Coupled with the chives, they give the chicken a memorable flavour, while the Knorr mixture tops the whole dish off.

Ingredients

  • 350 grams chicken breast
  • 150 grams wild mushrooms
  • 100 milliliters single cream
  • 150 milliliters water
  • 50 grams grated cheese
  • 1 packet chicken (Knorr Gourmet Wild Mushroom)
  • white rice
  • chives (chopped)

    Directions

    1. Cut chicken into thin slices.
    2. Clean mushrooms and if large cut in half.
    3. Place chicken and mushrooms together in a suitable casserole dish.
    4. Blend the powder with the cream and water and pour it evenly over the ingredients.
    5. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the oven at 200°C (180°C fan) approx. for 30 minutes.
