I knew as I was making it that it was not going to be like in the images. Very grainy and not even close to creamy. Too bad, a lot of cheese into the garbage bin and a couple of sad little boys....🙁 Will try a different recipe next time. Thanks anyway though for your effort. Maybe I did something wrong.

I loved the macaroni. I have messed up on many macaroni recipes. None of them would turn out very good. The sauce for this recipe was perfect. The texture was a little weird (probably one of my many mistakes) but the taste was AMAZING!!!

Very easy, smooth and creamy, not grainy like other recipes I’ve tried. Didn’t need to add anything other than a little pepper into the sauce before adding pasta. Husband and sons will definitely fight over this! This is a keeper:)

i followed the recipe, and there was so much cheese. it made a lot so we refrigerated it and ate it the next day, and the cheese went down as the pasta absorbed it, and it was great. i loved it, but maybe use 2 lbs of macaroni instead of 1 lb though.

Great! I used cheddar and Gouda cheese and it turned out great. A little light on the noodles, but very good cheese sauce.

So I halved the recipe because I wasn’t sure how well I would like it or how well it would turn out. Wowie wow wow!!! This is my new favorite Mac n cheese!!! I love it❤️ so creamy and cheesy but in a good way. The cheese looks stringy until you mix with the noodles and then it just heaven. I made enough sauce to save for later in the week to boil more noodles and have this yummy goodness again soon!!! Thanks for the recipe. I have made a cheese sauce for veggies before but it never tasted so good..😀

fantastic! I had to improvise with the cheese, I didn't have enough of the listed so I used 8 oz mexican shredded and 2, 4 oz velvetta blocks.

By far, one of my favorite mac and cheese recipies! It is now my go to for comfort food. I varied up the cheeses because I tend to have a few different ones on hand and it was absolutely amazing.

This was very yummy! I would recommend to use 1.5 pounds of pasta. I had leftover cheese sauce. I would definitely make this again.

I un-yum'd this it's expensive to make and excessive the recipe makes way too much cheese and end up grainy. Not a good recipe. Sorry!

It was good, no lumps in the sauce. I started it on the stove then decided to finish it up in the microwave. Had cheese sauce left over to use on something else.

There were chunks from the flour and it had a grainy feel to it. Will not be trying this recipe again

Creamy and delicious! No problem with lumpiness. Used a mixture of mild and sharp cheddar with the American cheese. Only needed a little salt and pepper at the end. I ate it with some stewed tomatoes, and my family ate as is. Really good, but a bit rich.
