This recipe offers a creamy dish with a savory taste. Cooked on a skillet with low heat, mushrooms and thyme are combined to bring a smooth texture to this winter dish.

Ingredients

  • 600 grams wild mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 50 milliliters sour cream
  • salt
  • fresh thyme

Directions

  1. Saute the onion in the oil in a skillet on low heat.
  2. Add the mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken broth and cook for up to 12 minutes.
  4. Remove the mushrooms and onions from the broth and add to a food processor. Add a small amount of broth and puree until smooth.
  5. Add the mixture to a bowl. Add the sour cream and blend thoroughly. Season with pinch of salt and fresh thyme.

Cream and delicious, this is a cream of mushroom soup I will make again and again. My kids loved it. It can be eaten alone or used as an ingredient in other main dish recipes. Thank you for sharing.
