  • 4 New York pork chops (top loin, 3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces french dressing
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix
  • 16 ounces cranberry sauce (whole-berry)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown pork chops on one side, about 3-4 minutes. In medium bowl stir together dressing, soup mix and cranberry sauce. Turn chops, pour cranberry mixture over chops and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 6-8 minutes, until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by a 3-minute rest time.
