it was sooo good. I did not use an bacon in it but put a pound of ground beef in instead and a can of corn to make it go a little farther and it turned out great. -very flavorful. i also used two cans of condescended soup and only 8oz of sour cream but it was just as rich as ever! we loved it!

Oh my lord, so normally I make tater tot casserole with cream of mushroom tater tots and cheese (it’s cheap and delicious) but, my husband made this after I showed him this recipe and it was the best dish I’ve had in a while it is so full of flavor and not to mention it’s easy to make plus the kids love it just as much as we do ! I highly recommend anyone to make it! If my husband can make it you can too ;)

Absolutely fabulous. I added pre-cooked rotisserie chicken and cooked the tops on top. It was absolutely amazing!!!

Everyone, except hubby, loved it. Hubby only liked it. The only change that I made was using real bacon instead of purchased bacon bits.

A little too much ranch and cheese. I would go easier on both next time. otherwise pretty good.

Loved it!! Made it with ground beef. No one in my family likes sour cream but we all had seconds!

Great! Super easy to put together and then you just let it bake. Definitely recommend for a potluck type setting

Everyone in my family loved it! I’ll definitely make it again!! I served it as a side dish with bacon wrapped bbq chicken breast, Bush’s baked beans and slaw... with red velvet poke cake (the country cook’s recipe) for dessert 😊

I found the combination a little to salty.

Easy and good. Would definitely make again.

So, so good while fresh. Unfortunately the bacon pieces did not reheat well for me and that made it difficult to eat all the leftovers

easy to made, crowd pleaser!

Turned out great! First attempt was good, but the amount made felt small. On second batch, used 14 oz of kibasle chopped into slices then that into 4ths, as well as used mini tater tots over regular sized. This made the portion size feel much larger and the added meat adding great flavor. Will keep altering but highly recommend anyone who makes this to use mini tots

Pretty decent for a fast filling meal. I added sausage and used a combination or hash browns and tatortots to use up open bags. 4yo and 6yo both ate it without complaint.

We use 3/4 lb of sausage browned before adding it to the mix and its amazing.

Sadly it fell short of my expectations from previous reviews it sure didnt match their responses. It was bland. Thanks for the base recipe, I will try some tweaks to see if I can get it to move us. :-)

its good enough if my husband asks me to make it again next week. my picky eaters - ages 11 and 3 even enjoy this.
Bonita S. 7 Nov 2017
Little salty for our liking. My ranch dressing was saltier, I would cut it in half next time.
