This recipe is delicious and quick and easy to make, although I prefer it with spaghetti or with smaller pasta pieces, such as bows or penne instead of noodles which I found a little sticky for my tastes. When I use pasta pieces I like to mix them up in the sauce, place the mixture in an oven dish, top with breadcrumbs and grated cheddar cheese and then place under the grill or oven until the cheese has melted to create a pasta bake instead. The only thing I add to this recipe is a tsp of nutmeg and some chopped fresh parsley to give it a little more flavor. This is a great lunchtime meal served with spaghetti and salad or a more substantial evening meal served as a pasta bake with garlic bread, peas and onion rings. I have also added pan fried prawns to the sauce just before serving to make it extra special, I also sometimes add some spinach or broccoli to add some extra nutrition.
