• 2 pounds boneless flank steak (grilled or broiled)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon all purpose flour
  • 1 large tomato (seeded and chopped)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz.)
  • 1/3 cup Hellmann's or Best Foods Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chile pepper (optional)


  1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook onion, stirring frequently, 4 minutes or until golden. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Stir in tomato, cheese, Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted. Serve sauce over thinly sliced grilled steak.
