It was an easy recipe to put together for a family of three. I do like the fact you can add your own spices and put fresh herbs inside. I added Cayenne, Salt, Jalepenos, Green Onions, and Cilantro in this batch. Really good overall. 😁

Turned out awesome! The tator tots took a little extra time to cook from frozen but the sour cream adds such a good taste to this! Definitely will be making this again!!!!

Made this casserole today. I didn't have tater tots, so I substituted hash browns. I followed all the other directions to a T. Everything came together smoothly and quickly. The result was absolutely delicious. I'll keep this casserole on my short list of "go to" easy meals.

In Oklahoma, the way I learned from a dear friend, the recipe does not contain veggies, sour cream, or cheese. I have made this recipe for years and have made a few modifications along the way. I have passed the recipe to my kids, and they have made a few modifications to make the recipe their own...such as adding cheese. I always add a chopped onion and minced garlic to my browning meat and salt & pepper to taste. To the Cream of Mushroom soup, I add a package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix, and enough milk to make it pourable. Mix the meat mixture to half of the soup mixture and put in a greased casserole dish, layer on the tots and pour the rest of the soup evenly over the top and bake. I am looking forward to adding the veggies and cheese when I make it this week. I hope my family loves it this way too!
