- HEAT oil to 350°F in large, heavy skillet.
- BLEND flour, salt and garlic powder in medium bowl. Break eggs into small bowl. Add milk to eggs; beat lightly.
- DIP steaks in egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture. Place steaks in hot oil. Fry 6 to 8 minutes on each side. Remove steaks from oil; drain on paper towels.
- ADD oil to drippings in skillet. Stir in flour; blend well. Add milk; stir over medium heat until gravy begins to boil. Reduce heat to low. Add salt and pepper. Serve over steaks.

The steaks themselves came out really good, the flavor was on point. My picky kids even finished their plate! I did have to add another egg to the recipe and lessen the milk because the milk/egg mixture via instructions was too liquid and wasnt sticking well to the meat at all. The gravy was just OK, nothing exciting about it, I had to add half a stick of butter, a little beef broth and a lot of salt/onion powder to get some flavor in there.

i like mine a little crispier, so after the first one I did flower/egg/flower rather than just egg/flower. other than that it's a great recipe. Don't be afraid to add your own flavors (I added liquid smoke to the egg mixture) to add flavor or make it your own.
