Description

This citrusy orange cake made with cornflour has a unique texture that differentiates it from all the other cakes. Made with fresh orange juice and orange zest, this citrus cake is a dessert for wintertime.

Ingredients

3 eggs
150 grams flour
150 grams corn flour
150 grams sugar
150 grams margarine (room temperature)
2 orange (juice)
1 orange zest
1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Grease and flour a small bundt pan. Set aside.
3Vigorously whisk the sugar with margarine until whitish and fluffy.
4Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring constantly.
5Add the orange's juice and zest, and mix very well.
6Add the sifted flour and baking powder, and mix well, without beating.
7Pour the dough in the bundt pan, and bake about 30 minutes.
8Remove from oven, and unmold.
