Cooked Egg Whites with Strawberry Jam

Description

No oven necessary for this fruity egg dish. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a light dessert, these egg whites are light and fluffy. Add your favorite jam to add a fruity twist or top with your favorite sauce.

Ingredients

4 egg whites
1 pinch salt
6 tablespoons sugar
8 tablespoons jam (suggestion: strawberry)

Directions

1In a bowl, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Gradually add sugar and whisk well until the whties begin to peak.
2Using a spoon, scoop the egg whites in a microwave safe container and microwave for 1 minute.
3Place them in a large bowl o cool down.
4Once they are cool, scoop the whites into serving bowls and top with strawberry jam. Serve freshly baked.
