Description

Only eight ingredients and novice-level baking skills are required to make this welcoming, rich and moist bundt cake, which is made with ground hazelnuts and hazelnut extract. The cake batter is all the more flavorful for the addition of strongly brewed coffee. Furthering the theme, the cooled cake is dusted with cocoa powder before serving. Store the cake, covered, at room temperature for up to three days.

Ingredients

250 grams sugar
250 grams flour
3 eggs
130 grams vegetable oil
130 grams coffee (cold espresso)
2 teaspoons baking powder
40 grams ground hazelnuts
extract (Hazelnut)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180C.
2Place the eggs in the mixer with the sugar, beat until foamy.
3Add the oil, the cold coffee, and the hazelnut extract.
4Fold in the flour sifted with the baking powder and the ground hazelnuts.
5Butter a bundt cake pan and add the batter.
6Bake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
7Cool the cake completely and sprinkle with powdered cocoa.
