  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 pound fresh spinach (chopped)

  • 1 onion (medium, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala

    Directions

    1. Boil the water.
    2. Add salt, lentils, turmeric, chili powder, and then turn heat down to med/low.
    3. While the lentils are cooking, saute the onion in the olive oil, cumin, and mustard seeds until the onion is transparent.
