Description

These portuguese tarts feature the sweet nuttiness of coconut. Made with corn flour, these tarts are gluten free. Preparation is made easy with the help of a food processor. Condensed milk makes these tarts gooey and light.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 300 milliliters milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter (at room temperature)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 100 grams grated coconut

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2Prepare cupcake pans with paper liners. You don't need to grease them.
  3. 3Put all the ingredients, except coconut, in a food processor and whisk for about 30 seconds. Add the coconut, and mix for a few seconds.
  4. 4Pour the mixture into the molds, filling 2/3 full.
  5. 5Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. 6When they begin to get golden, remove from the oven, and let cool.
