Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour (poorly filled)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cake yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated coconut
  • 1 cup poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Put the milk on the stove and add the coconut.
  2. Simmer for milk to take the coconut taste.
  3. Grease a shape with hole with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  5. Beat the eggs with the sugar until the dough is whitish and making bubbles on the surface.
  6. Add the softened butter in the microwave, the flour and the baking powder.
  7. Mix well and carefully add the milk with the coconut boiling.
  8. You must have some care in this step because the dough can "splash" and cause burns.
  9. Add the poppy seeds and wrap the dough.
  10. Pour the dough into the pan and garnish with colored nuggets.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes or until it's cooked through.
  12. Let it cool slightly before unmolding.
