Delicious recipe. We misread the recipe and put minced onion and tomato paste in the meatballs. We also added grated Parmesan cheese. The recipe makes a huge amount. We plan to freeze some and use the others for meatball sandwiches.

Perfect , need to double the and recipe and freeze half uncooked for a gourmet dinner with drive thru time.

Made it with just beef and without fennel. Turned out really well, and if your supermarket is like mine and is out of ricotta, use an extra egg or two, until it seems like a nice texture. Worked as a great base tho and looking forward to remaking properly

I am cooking for my son's rehearsal dinner. My husband told me to make a second batch after he tasted the meatballs and sauce. Fantastic flavor. A real keeper!
